**My Story**

 

On paper, I had the role.

Inside, I still felt junior.

I began my leadership career in the travel industry. The promotions came. The title. The expense account. The international travel. But inside, I felt like a fish out of water.

Surrounded by confident, outspoken voices, I shrank into silence. I worked harder and harder, trying to prove I belonged. I drank too much, ate too much and replayed self-doubt like a broken record in my head.

Childhood stories about ‘not rocking the boat’ were running the show, and I had no idea how to change them - or even if I could.

Then one day, in a meeting filled with the usual alpha voices, I did something different. My heart pounded, my voice wobbled. But I spoke. Clearly and succinctly. The silence that followed wasn’t awkward—it was attentive. 

And then came the words that changed everything.

“Lynn’s right.”

That moment shifted my entire understanding of leadership.

I realised that true authority doesn’t need volume, ‘charisma’ bravado, or long monologues.  It needs presence, compassionate honesty and power without ego.

That discovery lit a spark in me and then a fire.

For over 20 years I’ve worked with directors, VPs, MDs, CEOs, and executives across various sectors, enabling them to break free from over-functioning. They reset their boundaries, set crystal-clear expectations for themselves and others and step into a leadership presence that feels powerful, empowering and sustainable.

I bring both lived experience and rigorous training as an executive coach, holding a postgraduate diploma in Coaching Psychology. I'm also a Master Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation (ICF MCC).
